Union Millwright Since 2004

My career as a Millwright began 19 years ago as a new apprentice for Local 1051. After completing the apprentice program, I had the opportunity to teach a few classes, and in 2009 I became the full-time Millwright apprenticeship instructor at the Pekin JATC campus.

I got hired as a Business Representative for Millwright Local 1051 in 2011. While with Local 1051, I served on the Executive Board as a Trustee and later as Financial Secretary. In addition to the positions held at the Local, I served as a trustee on the Executive Board of the former Mid Central Regional Council of Carpenters. I currently sit as a trustee on the Central Illinois Carpenters Health and Welfare Trust Fund, as well as the advisory committee for the Pekin JATC. 

In 2020, I was elected Financial Secretary/Treasurer for Millwright Local 1693. While the position is challenging, serving with the current board has been a pleasure. 

I am once again honored to be chosen as Financial Secretary/Treasurer to help lead 1693 into a great future. I look forward to working with all new and present E Board members in making this happen!
